Raozan Upazila is located very close to the center of Chittagong district. This upazila consists of 58 small and big rivers/canals. Halda and Karnaphuli rivers, one of the natural fish breeding areas of Bangladesh, flow through the north-south direction of Atra Upazila. The upazila is located in the west of Hathajari, east of Kaukhali, north of Fatikchari and south east of Rangunia upazila.
